Nel cuore della suggestiva campagna toscana è possibile godere dei benefici della vita all’aria aperta oltre che delle interessanti risorse del luogo, quali paesaggi indimenticabili ed incomparabili spunti storico-culturali.

Nella Val di Cornia, in Loc. Cafaggio, sorge la struttura “Casa Vacanze Ribocchi”, nata dal recupero attento di un podere dei primi del ’900, in stile rustico Toscano, nel complesso molto elegante.

L’esterno si presenta in pietra “a faccia vista” accuratamente sabbiata, con un ampio porticato ad archi e pavimentazione in mattoni antichi originali. Fronte giardino, fa bella mostra di sé un’ampia scala esterna rifinita in mattoni e ferro battuto artigianale. Gli infissi, ampi e luminosi, sono in pregiato castagno.

L’edificio è circondato da olivi e vigneti, infatti, grazie ad un clima particolarmente favorevole questa zona è indicata ad offrire ottimi vini e olii.

Il podere è situato nella bellissima pianura chiamata dagli etruschi “Valle del Sole”, contornata ad Est da suggestive colline di olivi e tipica macchia mediterranea. Ad Ovest, il litorale si presenta con un continuo susseguirsi di spiagge e fondali incontaminati ideali anche per i bambini poiché l’acqua limpida e cristallina è per lunghi tratti di poca profondità e totale sicurezza.

Questa è una vacanza ideale per chi ama la natura, le passeggiate sia a piedi che in bici, aria buona, cibi genuini vini e olii di qualità.

Il podere è composto da bilocali e trilocali completi di servizi, sala, cucina. riscaldamento autonomo , climatizzatore e TV .

Gli appartamenti sono stati realizzati con cura dal proprietario, che mantenendo l’atmosfera della tipica casa di campagna toscana con interni a faccia vista e volte, archi in mattoni fatti a mano, li ha resi eleganti e molto confortevoli.

Ogni appartamento ha ingresso indipendente e può godere di grandi spazi nel giardino attrezzato con tavoli per mangiare all’aperto.

La struttura è a conduzione familiare quindi è molto curata l’accoglienza, la disponibilità ventiquattrore su ventiquattro, garantito agli ospiti il massimo confort per il loro soggiorno fornendo informazioni e prenotazioni per gite a cavallo, cene al ristorante, escursioni nei numerosi parchi naturali, centri benessere, visite di siti archeologi etruschi, borghi medioevali, sagre e feste paesane del momento.

Da non dimenticare anche la vicina isola d’Elba raggiungibile con soli 15 minuti di aliscafo.

In the heart of the charming Tuscan countryside, it is possible to enjoy the benefits of life in the open air, as well as the interesting resources of this territory, such as unforgettable landscapes and incomparable opportunities from a historical and cultural point of view.

In the Val di Cornia (Cornia Valley), at Cafaggio, you can find the “Casa Vacanze Ribocchi” (“Ribocchi’s Holiday House”), a farm dating back to the beginning of the XIX century, accurately restored in a very elegant Tuscan country-styled way. The exterior is in sand-blasted stone, with a large arched portico and a floor made of original ancient bricks. In front of the garden, a large external staircase, finished off with bricks and handcrafted wrought iron, makes a fine show. Large doors and windows, made of chestnut wood, bring plenty of light into the rooms. The building is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards; indeed, thanks to a particularly propitious climate, this area can offer excellent wines and olive oils.

The farm is situated in the beautiful plain called “Sun Valley” (“Valle del Sole”) by the Etruscans, bordered to the east with lovely hills covered with olive trees and typical Mediterranean scrub. To the west, the coast is a sequence of beaches and unpolluted seabeds which are also ideal for children, because their crystal-clear waters are not very deep and totally safe for long stretches. This is an ideal holiday for people who love nature, walks and bicycle riding, as well as good air, genuine food and choice wines and oils.

The farm consists of two and three-roomed flats complete with bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, independent heating, air-conditioning and television. The flats were created with great care by the owner, who made them elegant and very comfortable, while still maintaining the atmosphere of the typical Tuscan country house, with vaulted interiors in stone and arches made of hand-made bricks. Each flat has an independent entrance and can enjoy large spaces in the garden, equipped with tables for eating outdoors. Being a family-run country house, guests are welcomed with great warmth and the management is available twenty-four hours a day, guaranteeing the greatest comfort, giving information and making bookings for horse rides, dinners at restaurants, excursions to the numerous natural parks, treatments in beauty farms, visits to the Etruscan archaeological sites, medieval villages, festivals and fairs. Do not also forget about Elba Island, which can be reached by hydrofoil in fifteen minutes.

RIBOCCHI’S HOLIDAY HOUSE is situated in a strategic position: in a few minutes it is possible to reach many places, constantly surrounded by a marvellous landscape and nature.
In the vicinity you have medieval villages such as Suvereto, Populonia and Campiglia Marittima, where you can enjoy very good wines and typical Tuscan specialities.
Without neglecting the numerous village fairs and festivals, where you can meet artisans and gastronomers who have kept intact their ancient traditions.
Those who like tourist resorts can visit the little towns of Follonica and San Vincenzo.
In ten minutes, you can reach the wonderful Golfo di Baratti (Gulf of Baratti), where you can find sandy beaches, as well as rocky inlets with fabulous sandy stretches, all of which are surrounded by green meadows, pinewoods and Mediterranean scrub. Those who love archaelogy can visit, after a beautiful dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Baratti, the Etruscan tombs scattered on the marvellous verdant hills of the gulf, and looking at the horizon they can catch the sight of the charming Castle of Populonia. Going back to the farm, you can stop over and taste some excellent fresh fish or typical dishes such as the wild boar, “pappardelle” (a type of pasta) with hare sauce or an excellent pizza baked in a wood-burning oven.
Those who love exercise can take long walks or rides by bike in the middle of nature, while appreciating the variety of fragrances of the country-side and the Tuscan scrub.
Those who like horseback riding can find riding schools, where you can ride both along the beach and in the hills. Six kilometres away, you can find a spa, the Calidario, where the water flows from the spring at 37° C, forming a beautiful little lake.
At this beauty farm you can enjoy relaxing and curative massages.
Fifteen kilometres away, there is a pier from which you can reach Elba Island in fifteen minutes, thanks to fast hydrofoils.
