Our holiday farm Fattoria Ma’ Falda lies in an extraordinarily beautiful environment in the middle of Italy’s so-called green core. The agritourism is surrounded by protected nature with a particularly rich flora and fauna, as well as beautiful cultivated land.

You will find us between Orvieto and Todi, in an area of great cultural interest, close to the borders of Lazio and Tuscany, not far from the cities of Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto.

Fattoria Ma’ Falda is situated at an altitude of  550 metres, with a panoramic view of a beautifully undulating landscape, on the foothills of the extinct volcano Monte Peglia, overlooking the lake of Corbara. The farm is surrounded by two nature reserves of great interest in matters of flora, fauna and geology: The protected oasis of the Peglia mountain and the park around the river Tiber.

The grounds of our farm surround an old manor house which was built in the 18^th century. It was first used as a postal office and a place for changing horses. Its 12 hectars of land are now divided between grazing grounds, woods, olive groves and fruit orchards.

The running of the farm is now based on agriculture and animal husbandry for our own production of cheese, virgin oil, meat and honey. We keep goats, sheep and pigs. We are an eco-farm(ecological farm).

We have three flats to let parts of old farm buildings, restored and furnished with care and simplicity: CACIAIA (40sqm - 2beds), CASALE (100sqm – 6beds + 3), CASALETTO (135sqm – 6beds + 5).

Dogs are welcome.

We speak Norwegian, Italian, German, French, English and Spanish.

 

 

All flats are equipped with washing machine, oven, heating, TV, separate entrance and an outdoor space.

Prices include bed linen and towels, energy (water, light and gas) and cleaning at the end of your stay. Heating is not included.

Payment in cash. We do not accept cheques.

Reservations are made by paying 30% of the rent in advance with a bank or postal transaction.

The reservation will be confirmed as soon as we have received a receipt of the pre-payment (via fax).

The holiday farm Fattoria Ma’ Falda is open all year round.

Weekly(from Saturday to Saturday)

"CASALETTO" (135 sqm. -6 beds + 5*) :  High season**  1000 euros x 6 beds, Low season 650 euros x 6 beds.

"CASALE" (100 mq. - 6 p.letto + 3*) :   High season**  1000 euros x 6 beds, Low season 650 euros x 6 beds.

"CACIAIA" (40 mq. - 2 p.letto) :  High season **  450 euros x 2 beds, Low season 300 euros x 2 beds.

 

Weekend (minimum 2 nights)

High season **  45 euros per person per night, Low season  40 euros per person per night

 

(**) High season: From June to September, Easter, Pentecost, Christmas and New Year.

(*) In addition to the ordinary number of beds in each flat, it is possible to order extra sleeping accommodation on a sofa bed in the sitting room or in a balcony room.

Every extra bed costs 20 euros per night. Children in bed with parents are free.

Dogs and cats cost 35 euros per week.

Extra 3€ per person/night for “basket-breakfast”

Extra 5€ per person/night for “tray-breakfast”

Animals are welcome but must be kept under watch by the owner, cats with their own sandbox, d.ogs on a leash and with muzzle, other small pets in cages.
