Il Podere La Casellina è vissuto dalla nostra famiglia dal 1936. Apparteneva alla vicina chiesa di San Pietro a Terreno e fu dato in mezzadria ai nonni, dopo il loro matrimonio. Da allora, ha sempre costituito un punto di incontro per tanti amici e parenti ed ora che siamo arrivati alla quarta generazione, vorremmo allargare la cerchia di persone che vogliono passare del tempo con noi per tramandare la tradizione di una terra che possa continuare ad offrire quanto ci dava in passato. Il podere si trova nel meraviglioso paesaggio collinare toscano tra il Chianti e il Valdarno. Fiancheggiato dallo splendido bosco di castagni dei monti del Chianti e quello di lecci e querce della collina, il podere si apre a terrazza sulla valle sottostante con vista sull'Appennino. La campagna qui è campagna vera: gli olivi, le viti, gli alberi da frutto, l'orto, sono ancora lavorati dalla nostra famiglia con l'amore di un tempo ormai passato. Produciamo il nostro vino ed il nostro olio secondo le tradizioni toscane di un tempo, tradizioni che seguono il passo della natura, piuttosto che accelerarlo. Offriamo ospitalità in 3 camere matrimoniali ricavate dal fienile della colonica dove abitiamo e serviamo i pasti. La cena e la colazione sono a base di nostri prodotti come olio, vino, miele e marmellate.

Podere La Casellina is a working farm in the beautiful countryside between Chianti and the Arno Valley, an area of chestnut and oak forests, interspersed with ancient olive groves, orchards and gnarled vineyards. This is a small, organic farm, producing fine green olive oil, fresh fruit, seasonal vegetables and wine, and offering a comfortable stay, free of stress and commotion, and not too far off the beaten track.

Here you can picnic beneath the olive trees, gather chestnuts and wild mushrooms in the woods or simply sit back and enjoy the view of Monti del Chianti and Pratomagno.

The farm is a short drive from Florence, the most important of Tuscany's Cities of Art, and is convenient for the vineyards of Chianti and the other major cities of central Tuscany

The farm has been in the family for four generations, and the hospitality reflects the traditional easy warmth of the local contadini or countryfolk. The owners are eager to satisfy any requests, appreciating that people come to this part of the world to enjoy the easy pace of life and the beauty of the surroundings

The stables and hayloft have been carefully restored and converted into three simple, light bedrooms with bathrooms and excellent views. Breakfast is provided by the family, who live in the old stone-built farmhouse. Delicious, home-cooked evening meals, prepared by the owner's mother from the La Casellina's produce, are also served in the farmhouse dining-room.
