In General 

The welcoming Bed and Breakfast “Casa al Chianti” is situated in the village of Dudda, just 7km from Greve in Chianti and 8km from the Arno valley. For those visiting Tuscany’s famous cities rich in art and history, or the Chianti Classico region, this an ideal stopping point. There is a pleasant air of happiness and friendship at “Casa al Chianti” and the roomy communal areas such as the garden with its pool and the saloon of the old village shop, also owned and run by the family, are at the disposal of our guests, for playing, for relaxing or for a drink with friends. The traditional, local fare, provided by the owners, is characterised by healthy and natural ingredients.Breakfast, comprising juicy fresh fruit jams and home made cakes, is served either in the garden or in the saloon of the village shop. While dinner can be taken outside by candlelight with dishes typically Tuscan, Mediterranean or local game, accompanied by the famous Chianti Gallo Nero wine.

The bedrooms are furnished with simple good taste, have either private bathrooms within or just outside the rooms and contain safe, fridge and TV.

 Just inside the door in the main entrance to Casa al Chianti is the “Suggestions Board” which is covered with ideas for excursions, wine tasting or cookery tours and the menu for “theme” dinners, and of course a map of the local area and a calendar giving dates and details of local events. In the garden there is a swimming pool, a barbecue area, a ping pong table and there are mountain bikes available for clients use.
“Theme” dinners and live music are organised during the summer period.
