The agritourism Bed & Breakfast called "Mare in Campagna" was born out of our desire to carefully develop a delightful place that is not only located next to the Adriatic Sea but still maintains its rural character, typical of the agricultural spirit. Mare in Campagna is located in the Marches, a region of central Italy where traditions and culture are still active and alive. Here, you can enjoy the unpolluted nature and relieve your stress in the countryside between the green meadows and the blue sea. Our property is located between Porto san Giorgio and San Benedetto del Tronto, in the Roman territory of Campofilone, a very nice village nestled into the deep green hills of Marches and famous for its delicious "maccheroncini". In only a few minutes on foot you will reach a wide and quiet beach; recently the sea has been awarded a Blue Flag by the European Union, and it offers shallow depths and fine sand. The fields grow grain and barley; there are fruit and olive trees, as well as vineyards. The farmyard animals and the friendliness of the people will let you spend relaxing days and re-discover tastes and smell, colours and images nearly forgotten.

Today, our agritourism restaurant is located where the barn once stood. Here the ingredients for our guests' meals are prepared. Vegetables from our garden, eggs from our hens, fresh fish from the Adriatic as well as meat from fowl and rabbits we raise ourselves or that we obtain from trusted local farmers, are the basis for every single dish. The most important principle of our kitchen is the use of cold-pressed olive oil which we produce free from any chemical additives. The restaurant has big windows through which you can enjoy a view of the sea. Here we serve meals, including breakfast from 08,30 until 09,30. For breakfast, we take pride in offering you our home-made foods, produced in keeping with the biologic cycle and using all our natural ingredients: jams, fresh fruit and conserves, tarts, pastries, biscuits, bread, eggs and our extra-virgin olive oil. The food enjoyed at the Mare in Campagna Agriturismo comes from local products which don’t need to be transported from afar and are thus ecologically sustainable. Attention to authenticity and nutritional quality are thus united with respect for the environment in which we live.
